Minards Electric LLC is looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team in Dickinson, ND. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the trade hands-on alongside experienced electricians while building a rewarding and long-lasting career in the electrical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman and master electricians with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations
- Pull wire, run conduit, and install electrical panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA and NEC standards
- Troubleshoot and assist in diagnosing electrical issues under supervision
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as needed
- Participate in apprenticeship training program and coursework to advance licensure
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical safety practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions common to western North Dakota
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience
- drug test completed before starting work
