Role Description
This will become a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Nursing at our Flagstaff, AZ location. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the hospice care team, ensuring that high-quality, patient-centered care is delivered. Duties include staff management, compliance with infection control and healthcare regulations, development and implementation of care plans, and ensuring compassionate end-of-life care. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals and maintaining effective communication with patients’ families to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Nursing, Long-term Care, and Medicine
- Strong background in Nursing Management and leadership skills
- Knowledge of principles and practices of Infection Control
- Ability to develop and oversee care plans that prioritize patient dignity and quality of life
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Current RN license in the state of Arizona
- Experience in hospice or end-of-life care is highly desirable
