About the Role:
The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the hotel property is safe, fully operational, and well-maintained for both guests and staff. This role involves performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks across all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other hotel systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize guest inconvenience.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment longevity.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests, including after-hours emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel or commercial maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plus.
