Whether it's restocking a shelf, tidying a display, tackling a cleaning task, or finding a way to make the customer experience even better, we value people who take initiative and pride in their work.
Strong problem-solving skills are just as important! Retail can be unpredictable, and we appreciate people who can think on their feet, adapt to unexpected challenges, and find thoughtful, practical solutions. We value good judgment, resourcefulness, and the confidence to make decisions independently, while also knowing when to ask questions or bring in additional support.
We're a small team, so being able to manage your time, stay productive, and work through everyday challenges without constant direction is essential.
If you're the kind of person who sees something that needs doing, figures out how to make it happen, and follows through, you'll fit right in!
Our ideal candidate is someone who brings a wonderful mix of practical retail skills, genuine curiosity, and a little bit of magic! Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and comfort initiating conversations will be key in your daily duties.
At Mimosa, we welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and spiritual paths. We are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive environment for both our customers and our team.

- Is friendly, approachable, patient, and genuinely enjoys helping people. Can discern shoppers' varying customer service needs and respond appropriately.
- Respects a wide variety of spiritual beliefs, traditions, and personal practices.
- Is dependable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Takes initiative, notices what needs doing, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Can multitask, problem-solve, and stay calm and positive during busy moments.
- Is familiar with Apple products including iPad and MacBook.
- Experience with Canva and Shopify are a plus
You don't need to know everything about every crystal or spiritual tradition! A willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow your knowledge is just as important to us.
We're a small shop with a hands-on, all-hands-on-deck approach to running things. Around here, everyone does a little bit of everything! One moment you might be helping a customer find the perfect crystal, the next you're unpacking a shipment, restocking shelves, or scrubbing the bathroom.
We believe that no task is beneath anyone, and we all share responsibility for keeping Mimosa running smoothly, looking beautiful, and feeling welcoming. From the magical moments to the not-so-glamorous chores, we pitch in, help each other out, and take pride in doing whatever needs to be done.
A little teamwork (and a good sense of humor) goes a long way toward keeping our work environment both fun and productive!
We're not just looking for someone to join our team, we're hoping to find someone who will grow with us!
As Mimosa continues to evolve, we'd love to find a team member who is excited about taking on new challenges, learning the ins and outs of running a small business, and becoming an important part of our shop's future.
For the right person, this position has the potential to grow into an Assistant Store Manager role, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities in store operations, inventory management, team leadership, customer experience, and our online live crystal sales.
We're especially interested in someone who is proactive, dependable, organized, and comfortable taking initiative, someone who takes pride in their work, has a natural ability to problem-solve, and genuinely cares about helping our little magical community thrive.
Previous management experience isn't required, but a willingness to learn, grow, and eventually step into a leadership role is a big plus!
