Duties
- Prepare pizza dough and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, and prep stations safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all pizzas are cooked to perfection with consistent quality and presentation.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace.
- Assist with other food preparation tasks like ingredient portioning, garnishing, and assembling menu items.
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and notify management of stock needs or shortages.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling practices.
- Experience with food industry techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production settings while adhering to recipe standards.
- A passion for culinary arts with a focus on pizza making or related culinary experience.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
