Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes early childhood development, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality instruction tailored to meet diverse student needs, including those with developmental disabilities or special education requirements. Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Montessori or preschool methodologies.
• Manage classroom activities to promote active learning, positive behavior management, and social skills development.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral health specialists, and other professionals to support students with autism, disabilities, or speech therapy needs.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Prepare individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring specialized support and ensure their effective implementation.
• Mentor and supervise teaching assistants or junior staff, providing guidance on curriculum development and classroom management strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavioral reports, and communication logs with families regarding developmental milestones or concerns.

Requirements

• Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or special education settings, including preschool or private school environments.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Familiarity with curriculum development tools and lesson planning for diverse learners.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and external specialists.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and behavioral health strategies.
• Certification or training in speech therapy, behavioral health, or related fields is highly desirable.
