Position Overview

Join the growing Mimi & Me Swimming team and help children build confidence, independence, and essential water-safety skills.

I am looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Swim Instructor who is passionate about working with children and creating a positive experience in the water. Both part-time and full-time opportunities may be available for instructors who are committed to learning, growing, and providing high-quality instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, engaging, and effective swim lessons for children of different ages and skill levels.
• Teach proper swimming techniques, breath control, water confidence, and water-safety skills.
• Adjust instruction based on each child’s individual needs, comfort level, and progress.
• Maintain close supervision and follow all safety procedures during lessons.
• Communicate professionally and positively with parents and guardians.
• Track student progress and provide helpful feedback.
• Create a structured, encouraging, and fun learning environment.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to represent Mimi & Me Swimming professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be a confident and capable swimmer.
• Experience working with children is strongly preferred.
• Previous swim instruction, coaching, teaching, childcare, or youth-program experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and child-management skills.
• Patient, dependable, energetic, and willing to learn.
• Knowledge of swimming techniques and water-safety practices.
• CPR, First Aid, or lifeguard certification is preferred but may not be required for the right candidate.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Pay: $34.42 - $38.52 per hour
