Position Details:
Full Time
Shift: 40 Hours a Week, 8 Hour Shifts
Job Summary:
- Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner.
- Establishes goals of occupational therapy and re-assesses patient’s progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation, under supervision of Director of Rehabilitation.
- Patients need care 24/7 and facility employees must be available to provide that care.
- Employees are to care for patients regardless of the patient’s personal characteristics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
- Current New Mexico OT Licensure.
- New graduates acceptable; prefer 2 years experience.
- Current BLS Certification or obtain per policy upon hire; maintain such certification.
