* This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus. The first half ($500) is payable after successful completion of the orientation period and the second half ($500) is payable after one year of employment. *

Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following:

  • Perform daily and scheduled cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Accurately enter count results and documentation into SAP.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies by reviewing transactions, production movements, scrap, and shipping/receiving activity.
  • Work closely with Production, Receiving, Shipping, and Planning teams to resolve root causes of inventory variances.
  • Verify material locations, bin accuracy, and labeling compliance.
  • Support annual physical inventories and external/internal audits.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase inventory accuracy and control.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for inventory transactions and adjustments.

Supervisory Responsibilities - This job has no supervisory responsibilities.



Additional Requirements To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following requirements and competencies:

Inventory accuracy percentage.

Variance resolution time.

Cycle count completion rate.

 

Audit findings related to inventory.

 

SAP transaction accuracy.


Qualifications –
Working knowledge of SAP (WM). Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to read part numbers and production documentation. Basic math skills and comfort working with data and reports. Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications - Experience with lot-controlled, serialized, or regulated inventory. Prior experience supporting audits or SOX-controlled environments. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
