Job Description
The Set-up Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates.
3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am

The Set-up Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment as needed to support operations
- Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment with direction from management or qualified associates
- Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
- Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in both written and verbal forms
- Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
- Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the department as a whole
- Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months of injection molding experience
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
- Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
- Great attention to detail is required
- Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
- Above average basic math skills and reasoning ability
- Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Forklift certification
