Snow removal on sidewalks, docks, driveways, and parking lots of commercial or retail properties. This position is temporary/seasonal during the months of November – April. It is on call, 24 hours – 7 days a week. Hours are based on weather conditions and the need to service our customers. We will work around anyone's schedule. If you have partial availability or would like to be on our back up (reserve list), we will work with you. This is a great job for students, seasonal workers, or as a second part-time job. Wage is negotiable based on experience and driving capabilities.
Tasks:
- Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as skid steers and front end loaders, with bucket and pusher attachments.
- Shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt (de-icer) in those areas as needed.
- Use hand tools, such as shovels and salt spreaders as needed.
–Maintain or repair tools and equipment.
- Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots.
- Reading and interpreting maps and route sheets to provide accurate service.
Work Activities:
- Performing general physical activities.
- Move or lift heavy objects.
- Performing work in extreme weather conditions: heat/cold, rain/snow/ice.
- Ability to work long hours.
- Controlling machines and processes.
- Inspecting equipment, structures and materials.
- Repair and maintaining mechanical equipment.
- Operating vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment.

- Ability to gather information, identify objects, actions and events.

- Organizing, planning and prioritizing work.
Job Requirements:
–Cell phone, with text messaging, email, and application capabilities.
- Proper winter clothing consisting of winter coat, snow pants, warm socks, boots, gloves, and hats.
- Should be able to work with a 2-6 hour lead time.
- Reliable transportation at all hours, daily.
- Clean driving record to be able to operate our trucks or have your own equipment.

Projected Total Compensation: $ $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
Salary : $40,000 - $52,000
