This role is ideal for a self-starter who loves storytelling, enjoys connecting with people, and has a passion for capturing authentic moments through photos, videos, and engaging social media content. As the Social Media & Content Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content that promotes our brands, highlights our community’s success stories, and drives engagement across social platforms. You’ll attend events, visit project sites, and interact with our audience to keep our social media fresh, authentic, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content calendar for multiple brands and platforms.
- Attend local events to capture photos and videos for content (includes occasional nights and weekends).
- Visit active rehab properties at different stages of renovation to film and photograph progress, conduct interviews with investors, and highlight project stories.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content, including photos, videos, reels, and stories to promote upcoming events, success stories, and drive membership.
- Write compelling captions and posts that align with each brand’s voice and goals.
- Grow and manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent posting and audience interaction.
- Monitor trends and analytics to measure performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Engage with our community daily, responding to comments, spark conversations, and moderate groups.
- Collaborate with the team to promote events, services, and community highlights.
Qualifications
- Experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field
- Strong photography and basic video production skills (capturing, editing, posting).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred (Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of formal education).
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (internships and freelance work count).
- Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule that includes nights and occasional weekends for events.
- Interest in real estate investing or community building
