What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clubhouse Attendant Intern position at Milwaukee Milkmen?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare the clubhouse and locker room before games and practices, including uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clubhouse environment at all times.
- Assist with laundry operations, including uniforms, towels, and player gear.
- Set up and break down equipment for pre-game and post-game activities.
- Manage and distribute player meals, snacks, and beverages before and after games.
- Assist visiting teams and umpires as needed with equipment or clubhouse needs.
- Support players and coaching staff with day-to-day requests in a professional and efficient manner.
- Work closely with the Milkmen coaching staff and Head Clubhouse Manager to ensure all clubhouse needs are met.
- Uphold the standards and professionalism of the Milwaukee Milkmen organization at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in athletics, equipment management, or clubhouse operations preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism in a team environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with reliable transportation and enrolled in a college.
