Position Title: Housekeeping Team Lead

Job Classification: 12-month employee

Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor

Position Summary:

To provide consistency and stability within the Housekeeping Team at Milwaukee Lutheran Middle & High School. The Housekeeping Department will present the buildings and campus in a clean state before each event to promote a healthy environment, a safe environment, and an aesthetically pleasing and welcoming environment, that will enhance the teaching and learning, the performing and entertaining, and the worship that happens within the confines of this campus.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in a Housekeeping Lead/Supervisory role, with hands-on expertise in the field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Working Hours:

The normal working hours will be 2:30PM to 10:30PM, Monday through Friday. Summer hours can be more flexible upon approval from the Housekeeping Supervisor. There will be times when you will need to stay later to clean up after activities/events, or cover routes for people who are absent.

Essential Job Functions:

Cleaning Focus

• The primary focus of our cleaning is to reduce germ transfer between the occupants of our building by being aware of and sanitizing "touch spots" as defined in the Glossary of Terms.
• The secondary focus of our cleaning is to always have our buildings exceptionally clean, organized, and polished, so when others walk into our buildings, they immediately notice a purposeful difference.
