Milwaukee ER & Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. As a Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist, you will operate our advanced scanning equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Your commitment to patient care, safety, and technical excellence will be essential in delivering optimal imaging services.
Position: Part-time, Night-Shift
Responsibilities:
- Accurately position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas.
- Conduct regular warm-up sequences on radiological equipment to maintain functionality.
- Sterilize radiologic equipment thoroughly to ensure patient safety and adhere to hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Interpret and follow physicians' written scanning instructions accurately.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal structures during imaging.
- Review and evaluate scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards.
- Clearly explain scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.
- Monitor patients during scanning procedures, identifying and responding to any allergic reactions to contrast agents.
- Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report any deficiencies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret images.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and medical terminology.
- Compassion and patience in dealing with diverse patient populations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry developments and best practices in radiological technology.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.

Experience:
- CT: 1 year (Required)
- X-ray: 1 year (Required)
- Hospital medicine: 1 year (Preferred)
- Emergency room: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ARRT (CT) Certification (Preferred)
- ARRT (R) Certification (Preferred)
Shift availability:
