Job Description:
The equipment operator is responsible for moving product throughout the warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drives reach truck to assigned location to pull product
- Delivers product to designated area in overstock, to be replenished or shipped
- Records the movement of product location
- Stacks and moves empty pallets and wire baskets to correct destination
- Locates all received product to a forward picking bin or designated overstock location
- Ensures all carries receive the correct paperwork
- Operates wrap machine to secure pallets prior to shipment Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area
Physical Demands
- Driving reach truck for long periods of time
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of tools and boxes
- Able to work in various temperature conditions Operation of reach truck
Education and Experience Requirements
- Requires education equivalent to four years of high school Experience operating a Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sit Down Forklift, and an Electric Pallet Jack
