Your Role on Our Team: As a Talent Specialist on the Talent Solution Center team, you will support both the Talent Team and be the initial point of contact for employees. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, consistent, and scalable service delivery across the organization and is responsible for assisting in the execution of Talent projects and managing employee data. You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: Help Case Support: Skillfully address Help Cases within the Workday platform and over the phone line, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions to general inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, time/attendance, and internal Milwaukee Tool Policies, while maintaining effective communication with employees. Complete Workday Inbox Tasks and promptly address pending items. Support employee data audits to ensure data integrity for the business. Assist in employee data pulls to support projects across the business. Communications Contribute to employee communication processes, including tasks such as proofreading and editing email communications, dispatching email correspondence, posting announcements on the company intranet, maintaining content on communication monitors, and assisting in text alerts to the business. Employee Onboarding: Assist in the new hire onboarding process and day 1 orientation. Complete the verification of new employee I9 documents and the employer section of the I9 form within the federally mandated timeframes. Resolve any tentative non-confirmations from E-Verify while adhering to E-Verify rules and regulations. Compliance: Maintain employee files in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including proper filing and retention of I9 documents. Carry out the company’s policies and practices and escalate any concerns that are not in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Front Desk Support: Serve as a backup for front desk reception duties to cover during lunch breaks, absences, and vacations. Fulfill any other duties as assigned. The TOOLS you’ll bring with you: This position requires an associate degree in Business Administration or Communications and/or equivalent experience A demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment An outstanding attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow – up skills A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently as well as on a team A proficiency in Excel Other TOOLS we prefer you to have: Previous experience in an office environment Previous experience in Workday and Kronos/UKG Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
