Material Handler 1 Job Description: The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment and ensures correct delivery and shipment of materials. Duties and Responsibilities Perform work within takt/cycle time Perform work per work instructions Provide and process movement of material to point of use Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat Inform proper personnel of material shortage Check in and place materials from other cells Operate forklift Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area Practice 5Ss Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints Basic math skills Knowledge of JDE Material Handler Menu Certified forklift operator Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Experience in material handling Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
