Machine Operator 2 Job Description: Title: Machine Operator 2 Job Code: Department: Blades, Hole Saw The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for operating production equipment and meeting area production goals. Duties and Responsibilities · Set up and operate assigned equipment · May use computer to load printer software · Load/unload sealing and printing equipment with product and packaging material · Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required · Inspect and verify product according to quality standards · Work with Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment · Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation · Break down scrap packages · Able to work effectively within small teams · Accurately complete scrap tickets · Accurately complete daily production sheet · Accurately update hourly goal board · Maintain production pace and standards · Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area · Practice 5Ss Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Understand and follow verbal and written instructions · Basic math skills · Basic mechanical skills · Basic computer skills Education and Experience Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent · 1-2 years of machine operation experience Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
