Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our Mercedes-Benz dealership. This role specializes in the sale of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Vans and commercial vehicles to business owners, fleet customers, contractors, municipalities, and retail clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about building relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Sell new and pre-owned Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Vans and commercial vehicles.
- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial customers and fleet accounts.
- Prospect new business through networking, referrals, and community outreach.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations and explain commercial upfit options.
- Prepare quotes, financing proposals, and lease options.
- Coordinate with finance, service, and upfit vendors to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Maintain knowledge of Mercedes-Benz commercial products, incentives, and competitor offerings.
- Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive or commercial vehicle sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to generate new business.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of fleet sales or commercial vehicles is preferred but not required.
