We are seeking a motivated and energetic Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Deliver prepared food items promptly from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to support kitchen staff
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in guest areas
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS and Hot Sauce POS for order processing and billing when required
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to ensure seamless service flow
- Assist with banquet or special event setups when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with food safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Experience with POS systems such as Hot sauce POS and Toast POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is advantageous
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
