The Job
Milton Rents is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair construction and rental equipment in our shop.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Test equipment to ensure safe, proper operation
- Complete work orders and service documentation
- Work with customers, vendors, and other team members as needed
Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- Heavy equipment, diesel, construction, rental, or fleet mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional-grade mechanic’s tools
- High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
