Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and systems to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures.
- Manage facilities maintenance tasks, including residential painting and general upkeep.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly.
- Lead projects that enhance operational efficiency and safety within the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong emphasis on electrical systems and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Proficient in English for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
