What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Developer position at Milton High School?
Milton High School seeks an individual to work with the Work-Based Learning Coordinator and other identified professionals to develop and support employment placements for students within the community. The mission of the MHS Work-based Learning Program is to help every high school student conclude their public education with a clear career plan and to inform them of the various education and training options they can pursue to achieve it.
It is preferred that the candidate have either 4 years of experience in a public school setting, 4 years of experience working with students in community-based settings, or an equivalent amount of experience in a vocational program. A high level of independence, strong communication skills, and flexibility are necessary, as well as a willingness to work in community job settings. Use of a personal car to transport students to the job site is required for scheduled school days. Hours are 6.5 per day, 5 days per week.
Pay range: $20.97 to $29.97. Pay is based on experience and degrees per the Support Staff Master Agreement.
