What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Support Professional position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples who share our passion for working with youth and providing them with a supportive family-like environment.
As a Youth Development Specialist at Milton Hershey School, you will be responsible for managing daily responsibilities including driving, administration of medication, and budgeting while living on campus.
Our flex houseparent program allows couples to live on campus and work together to guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students.
As a flex houseparent, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in students' lives and enjoy a unique compensation package that includes free housing, meals, utilities, and more.
Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
