Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer operations with integrity
- Assist customers with product inquiries, conduct product demos, and promote upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Maintain organized shelving and stock levels by stocking merchandise and ensuring attractive displays through merchandising efforts
- Support inventory management by participating in stock counts, organizing stockroom areas, and replenishing products as needed
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders
- Engage in basic retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, and pricing adjustments while ensuring accurate cash handling
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse customers and team members
- Ability to handle cash register operations, retail math calculations, and cash handling procedures confidently
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to address inquiries professionally and courteously
- Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
