Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Business Immigration Paralegal located in New York, NY, with flexibility for remote work. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the preparation and filing of employment-based, nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications, and visa petitions for our corporate clients. The Business Immigration Paralegal will manage timelines and multiple projects, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and maintain accurate, consistent, and timely document management systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Business Immigration Paralegal role at Milstein Law Group will have:
- A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
- 5 years of proven experience in handling all aspects of business immigration including H-1B, L-1, O-1, and EB-1 visas, as well as PERM labor certifications and employment-based green card applications
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, immigration case management software, and online research tools
- Thorough knowledge of the current immigration laws and procedures, as well as prior experience in interacting with governmental agencies such as the Department of Labor and the USCIS
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional client service and a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities as needed
- An ability to work effectively both independently and as a team player with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
