Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Perform industrial painting tasks on various structures and surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Work with stucco and plaster materials for repairs and finishing touches.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Assist in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support painting projects.
- Collaborate with team members on construction estimating for upcoming projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial painting, construction painting, stucco application, and plaster work is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools related to the painting trade.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong understanding of airless paint spraying techniques.
- Experience with frame carpentry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration.
