Position Description
The Site Superintendent II is responsible for overseeing on-site project performance, coordinating field operations, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders. This role supports the execution of construction projects by maintaining schedules, documentation, and quality standards while collaborating with the PM/PE team, install partners, and general contractor site personnel.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and document issues like missing or damaged materials.
- Maintain proactive communication with project teams, install partners, and contractors.
- Follow up through project emails and correspondence.
- Use Fieldwire for tracking progress, updating statuses, and reporting.
- Maintain project schedules aligned with milestones.
- Ensure safe storage and security of materials on-site.
- Participate in mandatory meetings (weekly install calibration, biweekly PM/PE install meetings, after-action reviews).
- Keep project status current by updating pins, photos, notes, checklists, and hashtags.
- Generate reports on issues such as missing materials and punch list items
- Update punch list completion statuses.
- Complete required safety training (OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid/AED, Silica Dust Awareness, Fall Prevention, Ladder Safety, PPE Awareness, Hazard Communications).
- Ensure install partners complete site-specific safety training
- Conduct regular safety tool inspections.
- Enforce and document adherence to Safety Violation Policy.
Required Skills
· High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred
· 2 years of field coordination or construction site experience preferred
· Experience with Fieldwire or similar project management software highly desirable.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to interpret safety rules, technical documents, and procedural instructions.
· Basic math proficiency, including percentages and ratios.
· Ability to apply logical reasoning to solve routine and complex problems.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Must hold or obtain the following certifications: OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid/AED, and any other applicable safety-related credentials.
· Physical ability to navigate construction sites, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear PPE for extended periods.
· Must be willing to travel to job sites and work occasional evenings or weekends based on project needs.
· Comfortable working in varied environmental conditions including weather exposure, noise, and physical site hazards.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
