What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Attendant position at Millwald Theatre Inc.?
Millwald Theatre is seeking an individual to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform custodial, maintenance, and routine cleaning of the theatre and building including cleaning of restrooms
- Receive inventory orders and stock supply room
- Report safety and maintenance concerns with the Operations Director
- Must be flexible with work hours to potentially include nights and weekends during events.
- Change Marquee messaging when applicable
- Ordinary maintenance when needed including but not limited to changing light bulbs, painting, and touch ups
- Set-up non-technical event needs such as tables and chairs for events as needed.
- Interact well and communicate clearly with diverse groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, co-workers, patrons, and the public
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Education and Experience
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by previous customer service experience, OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Physical Requirements
- Tasks require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Involves some climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling physical effort.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: Between 2-10 hours a week depending on programming
Background Check Required
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
