QUALIFICATIONS: *Must meet health requirements as specified by local, county and state government *Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities *Hours vary depending on assigned location *Positions assigned as "Floaters" may float between multiple locations *Floaters work (4) hours per day
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: *Assists in the preparation of hot and cold food *Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter *Assists in the cleaning of counters, tables, and furnishings *Attends to spills to prevent hazards to employees and students *Removes trash from food preparation, service, and lunchrooms *Assists with dish washing duties *May perform duties of cashier *Maintains pots, pans, and cooking utensils *Sweeps and mops storeroom floors and walk-ins *May perform related duties at special meal functions
SALARY RANGE: $15.65-$21.71 per hour per MEA contract
