Duties
- Operate washers and dryers to ensure clothing are thoroughly cleaned and properly dried.
- Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing linens, uniforms, and other articles.
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning work areas, laundry machines, and equipment regularly to prevent contamination.
- Follow safety protocols during all laundry processes, including proper use of laundry detergents and chemicals.
- Assist with customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services or special handling instructions.
- Document laundry procedures accurately and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning & laundry services.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, including lifting bulky items and operating push carts.
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or other materials accurately.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines.
- Familiarity with garment care machine operation such as industrial washers and dryers is advantageous.
- Strong attention to sanitation practices to ensure all articles are cleaned according to health regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting clients and team members alike.
