What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snack Bar Attendant position at Millsboro Lanes?
Must be able to work Sundays 11 am - 5 pm. Additional shifts might be available, however, this is a hiring specifically for that Sunday shift.
Overview
We are a 24 lane bowling center with a family friendly environment. We have a full service snack bar. We also have a beer and wine license. This position will be required to be able to serve alcohol which means individuals must be 21 years or older per Delaware state regulations.
We are seeking a reliable and customer oriented Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and cooking a variety of food and beverages. As a Snack Bar Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the snack bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and processing customer transactions accurately.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly service.
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customers receive the best experience possible.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation. (3 years preferred)
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred. (3 years preferred)
- Proficient in cash handling and ability to operate a computer Point of Sale System. We use Square, prior experience with Square is a bonus.
- Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain health standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
