Mills River Dog Camp is a small and fun off-leash dog camp located in Mills River. We are looking for few part time people to join our team! The hours we are offering will be part time in the morning and on the weekends and we would love someone to be a long term member of our team. Since we are an outdoor off-leash dog camp the people we are looking for are comfortable interacting, playing and training dogs of all sizes. We would love to have someone join our team with experience working at a boarding and or dog day care facility but if you have the personality, positive attitude and the team spirit, then we will be happy to train the right person.
In this position as a Camp Counselor you would be responsible for the care of our day campers and overnight campers. They would interact with our clients and give them reports on how well their pet did during the day and to help bond the client and pet to our camp. There may be some lifting of pets during the day, so you would need to be able to lift at least 50lbs with no problems. Our Camp Counselors are also responsible feeding the overnight campers, cleaning the kennels and the play areas to keep it free from pet messes along with any other chores the Camp Director provides.
