Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
3-5 Years of computer experience –including but not limited to, Windows OS, Outlook, Word, Excel

Job Details
Responsibilities (may Include But Are Not Limited To)
- Prepare quarterly journal entries for depreciation, taxes, and prepaid insurance
- Review assigned financial statements for accuracy
- Assist with month-end closing transactions
- Prepare and review property budgets, including affordable housing program budgets
- Prepare audit work papers and year-end property financial tie-outs
- Assist with posting and depositing rents, security deposit returns, and monthly collections reporting and follow up
- Assist with initiating and balancing monthly EFT’s
- Process invoices, recurring property payables, and resident utility allowances as assigned
- Manage owner funds and handle reserve withdrawals and management fee payments as needed
- Serve as point of contact for YARDI software, including troubleshooting, property setup and vendor setup
- Support HOA accounting service agreements, including monthly financials, homeowner correspondence, and onboarding new homeowners
- Prepare financials for association meetings and other internal reporting as requested
- Create receipts for HAP and RD payments
- Prepare request to withdraw from reserves for affordable projects
- Assist with preparation of audit work papers for properties after year end
- Participate in the reconsideration committee as part of the tenant screening process
- Collaborate with other accounting staff on projects and provide support as needed
- Bill Home Services invoices as assigned.
