What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Paint Sprayer - 3rd Shift position at Mills Products, Inc?
Job Duties:
- Operate and maintain production levels on paint production runs.
- Performs chemical and quality checks.
- Complete hourly check sheet, thickness check sheet, and weekly usage sheet.
- Review Powder Room before the shift and at the end of shift to assure housekeeping meets Company standards.
- Change filters when needed.
- Follow schedule of assignment.
- Perform color changes per the production schedule.
Job Responsibilities: Assists in changeover procedures to include cleaning of sieves and booth for next production run, cleaning and changing of C-Hooks, assists as necessary with loading/unloading and inspecting/packing. Functions as back up Technician as training/ skill level increases.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a dependable team player; willing to give every effort to support the end goal of the Powder Coat Department.
Have the ability to work well with others, multi-task, organized in their work habits, and have the initiative to follow through with given instructions.
Must have basic math skills including all units of measure.
Physical Demands: Employees are required to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl inside the paint booth and will be required to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds overhead and move up to 75 pounds of powder paint on the shelves.
Specific Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Must pass a Pulmonary Function and Respirator Fit Test *
Previous Powder Coating Experience is required.

Pay: $18.92 - $19.98 per hour
