Luxor at Mills Pond is seeking an experienced and motivated Dietary Supervisor to help lead our Food & Nutrition Services team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about resident satisfaction, food quality, and maintaining a safe, efficient kitchen operation.
Responsibilities
Supervise dietary staff during assigned shifts.
Ensure meals are prepared and served accurately, on time, and according to therapeutic diet requirements.
Monitor food quality, tray accuracy, and sanitation standards.
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and infection control regulations.
Assist with staff training, scheduling, and daily workflow.
Monitor food and equipment temperatures and complete required documentation.
Address resident concerns and promote excellent customer service.
Work collaboratively with Nursing, the Registered Dietitian, and other departments.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous supervisory experience in dietary or food service preferred.
Long-term care or healthcare food service experience strongly preferred.
ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
