Warehouse Technician/Driver

About The Role

Mills James is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician / Driver to support our fast-paced Live Events operations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team that delivers exceptional event production services across Ohio, the Midwest, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Preparation & Delivery: Accurately prepare, stage, and load equipment for scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Driving Duties: Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to transport audiovisual equipment locally and regionally. Occasional longdistance travel within the continental U.S. may be required.
• Inventory Control: Assist with receiving, stocking, and managing inventory with a high degree of accuracy. Notify team leads of any equipment maintenance or repair needs.
• Warehouse Operations: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Workplace Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazardfree warehouse space. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Customer Service & Team Support: Represent Mills James professionally on job sites and provide friendly, solutionoriented service to clients and colleagues.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of warehouse, logistics, or equipment handling experience. Experience with audiovisual equipment is a strong plus.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license required. Must be able and willing to obtain a Medical Card and a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Applicants with a current CDL are strongly preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor in varying environmental conditions.
• Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work variable shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and occasional weekends, based on event schedules.
• Work Ethic: Highly dependable, selfmotivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
