We are seeking an energetic and reliable Parts Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting parts and merchandise to our local service facilities and retail locations. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service and strong organizational skills will help ensure timely deliveries and satisfied clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles, primarily a commercial delivery truck, to deliver products across designated routes
- Build positive relationships with customers through professional communication and attentive service
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Manage route driving efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules
- Assist with merchandising, loading, and heavy lifting using safe lifting practices to ensure proper handling of goods
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals
- Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving is preferred
- Strong knowledge of driving safety regulations, including DOT compliance
- Basic math skills for pricing calculations and transaction handling
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination
- Ability to lift heavy items safely while following proper lifting practices
- Previous retail store or customer service experience is a plus
- Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and keep accurate records
