We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving profitability, ensuring high-levels of Guest satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the service department, including workflow, scheduling, and productivity
- Lead, coach, and develop service technicians and support Team
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics (labor sales, effective labor rate, hours per RO, guest satisfaction scores, etc.)
- Ensure exceptional Guest experiences and handle escalated Guest concerns
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and warranty requirements
- Control expenses, manage departmental budget, and drive profitability
- Work closely with sales departments to maximize overall dealership performance
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment
- 3 years of experience in an automotive dealership service department
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Proven track record of driving service department performance and profitability
- Excellent communication and Guest service skills
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (CDK, etc.)
- OEM experience preferred
