Duties
- Assist with the installation of building materials including drywall, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, electrical, and plumbing.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble materials according to project plans.
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to meet specified requirements.
- Support heavy equipment operation for material handling or site preparation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on framing, masonry, drywalling, tile laying, caulking, and other specialized tasks to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience with familiarity in residential or commercial construction
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures for accurate dimensional measurements.
- Experience with various construction disciplines including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or finishing trades is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures on active construction sites.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors or in confined spaces for extended periods; ability to lift heavy materials safely.
