Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Porter to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming residential condominium. This role offers a premium hourly rate and a paid lunch period due to the expectations for high-quality work and excellent service to residents.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all common areas (lobby, hallways, gym, rooftop, package room, bike room, etc.)
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces and restrooms
- Empty trash and manage refuse/recycling rooms
- Perform minor maintenance tasks (painting, patching, light bulb changes)
- Conduct daily inspections and report issues to management
- Maintain building security and assist with event setup/breakdown
- Receive, log, and organize package deliveries (weekend duty)
- Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and entrances
- Assist vendors and contractors as needed
- Restock cleaning supplies and monitor inventory
- Provide professional customer service to residents
Requirements:
- Prior porter or maintenance experience required.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, buffer, carpet cleaner)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically able to lift and move items as required
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation
