Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager

Company Overview:

At Artsy Couture, we're not just in the business of printing; we're in the business of turning moments into masterpieces. We're passionate about transforming digital images into tangible works of art that captivate and inspire! Join us in our pursuit of excellence as we continue to redefine the boundaries of print and deliver an experience to amateur and seasoned photographers alike!

Position Overview:

We're a close-knit, hands-on team that values creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement. If you love the idea of selling something you're genuinely proud of and building relationships that last, keep reading.

We're looking for a Business Development Manager who knows how to open doors and keep them open. This is a hunter role. You'll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and converting new B2B opportunities while also supporting and growing our existing client base.

You'll be joining a company that's scaling its B2B channel, which means real ownership, real impact, and room to grow. You'll work cross-functionally with our creative, product, and operations teams, and you'll be a key voice in how we bring new products and partnerships to market. While this role is remote-first, it does require genuine flexibility and comfort with travel.

What You'll Do:

New Business Development & Lead Generation — 30%

  • Identify and pursue cold leads through a mix of inbound and outbound strategies:
  • Inbound: website sign-ups, content marketing, SEO, paid ads, and social engagement
  • Outbound: proactive email, LinkedIn, phone, and direct mail outreach; leveraging lead lists and data providers
  • Represent Artsy Couture at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences — including hands-on coordination before and during
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance research, personalize outreach, and accelerate pipeline development
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop sales and marketing collateral that supports prospecting efforts

Warm Leads & Opportunity Management — 30%

  • Own and maintain warm leads and opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-through
  • Lead virtual and in-person presentations; create product samples tailored to prospective clients
  • Execute go-to-market strategies by industry segment in partnership with the broader business team
  • Analyze pipeline and sales data to generate product-specific forecasts and reports in Google Sheets

Account Management — 20%

  • Support B2B client relationships across marketing initiatives, order management, sales training, contract negotiations, and escalations
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend annual client meetings (virtual and in-person) and serve as a reliable, proactive point of contact

Continuous Improvement & Operations — 20%

  • Partner with Product Engineers and Operations to problem-solve new product solutions for in-store and factory fulfillment
  • Support order automation improvements and new B2B product launches
  • Maintain workflows, documentation, and reporting within company systems
  • Provide exceptional support during Q4 peak season — both internally and for clients
  • Develop and uphold policies and procedures that drive efficiency, accuracy, and standardization

What You'll Bring:

You're a hunter. Cold outreach energizes you, and you get real satisfaction from opening doors that didn't exist before. You build trust quickly—and you follow through.

You communicate clearly, manage your own time, and don't need to be chased. You hold yourself to a high standard, whether you're pitching a new client or coordinating a tradeshow.

You're flexible -- including when it comes to travel. Short notice doesn't rattle you.

A genuine appreciation for photography or print is a plus; our clients notice when someone actually cares about what they're selling.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years in Sales, Business Development, or a closely related role — B2B experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in building a pipeline and closing new business, not just maintaining inherited accounts
  • Experience working across both online and in-store retail sales environments
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM; comfortable analyzing data and building reports in Google Sheets
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time, including occasional short-notice trips and some international trips
  • BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Economics, Journalism, or a related field

Travel Expectations:

  • Time away: Up to 15% of the time — approximately 8–10 trips per year.
  • Average Trip length: 3-7 days
  • What you'll be doing: Client meetings, tradeshows, and facility visits.
  • Advance notice: Most travel (tradeshows, facility visits) comes with substantial lead time. Client meetings require more flexibility- in rare cases, this may be only a couple of days' notice.

Bottom line: This role requires a genuine willingness to travel and adapt to shifting schedules. If that sounds like you, great — we want to hear from you.

Why You'll Love Working With Us:

Creative Purpose: Be part of a team that helps bring personal stories to life

Team Culture: Work in a collaborative, hands-on environment that values both people and process

Growth Opportunities: We're committed to your development and success

Perks and Benefits: Competitive Pay plus commission; Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; 401 (k) Retirement Savings Plan; Employee Discount; Referral Bonus Program; Paid Time Off
