Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring materials and products are correctly stored and accounted for. This role supports purchasing, production, and warehouse operations by preventing stock discrepancies and ensuring smooth material flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
- Update inventory records in ERP/MRP systems (such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Monitor stock levels to identify shortages, overages, or obsolete items.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports for management review.
- Assist in conducting full physical inventories as scheduled
- Verify receiving transactions and ensure items are properly labeled and stored.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associates degree is a plus.
- Prior experience in inventory control warehouse, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge or inventory management systems (ERP/MRP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and maintain accurate records.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods if required.
