Your Role:
As the Associate Director Strategy for Life Science IT you work directly with the Life Science CIO to constantly review, refine and update the Life Science IT strategy and you work directly with the functional teams to support them to do the same for their respective functional strategies. You ensure that the Life Science IT strategy is in sync with the respective Group IT and Business Sector strategies.
You are also working with the Life Science CIO to and the LS IT Leadership Teams to plan and run the LS IT Leadership team meetings on a regular basis includingquarterly workshops (virtual or face-2-face) and you will be responsible for the agenda, moderation, minute taking and follow-up for these meetings.
In your role you will also take on project management roles on special assignments as per the guidance provided by the Life Science CIO and the LS IT Leadership team.
In addition to your IT strategy role, you will have the opportunity to support the St. Louis Hub Leadership team in devising and rolling out Hub activities ranging from employee engagement, community outreach, scientific collaboration and education.

Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Scientific field required; Master's preferred.
- Professional experience, ideally with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments, strategy, scientific and/or business segments.
- Sound executive presentation and interpersonalskills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in leadinga multi-layered matrix organization, ability to lead by influence and to drive difficult tasks in a self-directed way
- Deep understanding and practical experience with key MS Office applications like Excel and PowerPoint and great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and act on global and local business strategic direction and requirements in a multi country, multi-cultural and matrix environment.
- Proven foundation in project management methodology
- Experience within the LifeScience industry is preferred
- Collaborative approachand willingness to act for the benefit of the team and organization
- Ability to work with minimal directionand excellent self-management skills
- Up to 20% travel possible, domestic and international
