Role Overview
We’re looking for a driven, personable, and resourceful Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients—sparking conversations, qualifying leads, and booking discovery calls for our sales team.
This is not a cold-calling boiler room job—we’re looking for someone who can engage meaningfully with purpose-driven entrepreneurs and professionals who want to grow their business and impact through authorship.
What You'll Do
● Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels to identify and connect with potential clients.
● Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria.
● Schedule discovery calls for the CEO or sales team with qualified prospects.
● Follow up with leads who have shown interest but haven't taken the next step.
● Track interactions and maintain accurate lead data using CRM and spreadsheets
● Collaborate with marketing and leadership to optimize messaging and outreach strategies.
● Represent Million Dollar Author™ with clarity, integrity, and enthusiasm.
What You Bring
● 3 years of experience in a sales development, lead generation, or appointment-setting role B2B (bonus if in coaching, consulting, or publishing)
● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
● Comfortable using Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and Zoom
● Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote team environment
● Reliable internet connection and ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time hours
● A genuine interest in entrepreneurship, publishing, personal development, or thought leadership

● Hitting (or exceeding) weekly targets for outreach, leads qualified, and calls booked
● Prompt, professional follow-up and strong communication with the sales team
● Demonstrating a deep understanding of our audience and mission in every conversation
