Position Summary : The Operations Accounting Manager is a critical management position responsible for overseeing six or more FBO accountants, as well as managing the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations accounting processes while driving process improvements and implementing technology solutions to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership and Team Management :
o Supervise and mentor six FBO accountants based in various locations.
o Manage the AP and AR teams to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
o Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
o Oversee FBO accounting operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
o Review and analyze monthly financial reports for accuracy and consistency.
o Provide guidance on complex accounting issues related to FBO operations.
o Identify inefficiencies in current processes and develop strategies for improvement.
o Streamline workflows to enhance accuracy and reduce processing times.
o Lead initiatives to implement or upgrade technology solutions that support AP, AR, and operational accounting functions.
o Ensure seamless integration of systems with existing processes.
o Partner with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and IT, to align accounting functions with business goals.
o Act as a key liaison between the accounting team and other departments.
