Millinocket Regional Hospital seeks a full-time BC/BE Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative team in our Walk-In Care practice. In this hospital-employed position, the practitioner provides accessible, urgent, and episodic healthcare to patients of all ages with non-life-threatening illnesses and injury- care.
What You’ll Do: Walk-In Clinic Practitioners evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries without appointments. They order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures like suturing or splinting. The practitioner, who treats patients of all ages, must quickly determine if a patient requires emergency hospital care or stabilization.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assisting or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice in the state of Maine.
