QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of accredited Maine practical nursing program with active Maine LPN license. Current CPR, AED, and BLS certifications required. Phlebotomy certification a plus. Minimum one year experience in outpatient surgical/medical setting preferred.
Must possess excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Have ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented office while maintaining a positive attitude. Must function independently with minimal supervision, deliver outstanding customer service and maintain positive patient engagement. Computer skills required.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Work closely with PC/WIC to support day-to-day operations, including chart preparation, patient processing, in-office procedures, and scheduling as needed. Responsible for pre-certifications, ordering diagnostics, and managing patient follow-up plans. Collaborate closely with PC/WIC office staff, families and other clinics (internal & external), as required within the scope of the LPN.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Full-Time, Hourly Position. 36 Hours Per Week (4 9-hour days), Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; variable schedule.
