Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Athletic Trainer role located in Decatur, IL. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for developing and executing programs aimed at injury prevention, supporting athletes with rehabilitation and recovery, and implementing effective strength and conditioning strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating and managing sports injuries, creating treatment plans, communicating with coaching staff, and ensuring the health and safety of athletes during training and competition. Sport assignment is negotiable, but we would prefer someone interested in having a football dedicated staff member, being dedicated to football in the fall and women's flag football and off-season football in the spring.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation, ensuring athletes return to optimal health and performance
- Proficiency in Athletic Training techniques and Strength & Conditioning programming
- Ability to implement and supervise preventive care measures
- Strong organizational and communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment
- National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) certification required
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience working with collegiate athletic programs is a plus

$45,000-$50,000
